The Dress That Turned This Mamas Waddle Into A Strut

2017-01-30-01.41.05-2.jpg.jpgAs most of you may know, I am almost ready to pop out another baby…well 6 weeks left, and because of this I am running out of clothes to fit my larger than life curves. Hence my article  5 Ways to Wear Your Husbands Clothes In Your Third Trimester that I wrote a couple weeks ago.  After that article, I think the lovely ladies at Pink Blush were starting to feel sorry for me, so they let me pick out a maternity piece from their store *squeals of excitement*.

You have no idea how good it feels to have something hanging on my side of the closet that fits and doesn’t belong to my husband. The dress that you see me wearing is the Rust Floral Maxi Dress. For all of you soon to be mamas out there, let me explain why this is the perfect dress.2017-01-30-01.44.09-1.jpg.jpg

First off, it is super duper stretchy. Mine is a size small, so I was a little worried about it fitting, but it stretched overtop that big belly, and still fits nice and snug everywhere else. The stretch also makes it a very comfortable piece to wear, and as some of you know, in your third trimester the last thing you want to be wearing is anything restricting and uncomfortable…now I see why moo moos were such a hit back in the day (Mom, I will never judge your fashion choices again).

The second thing I love about this maternity dress is that it doubles as a nursing dress. The neckline easily pulls down and goes back up without losing its shape. For all of you first time moms out there, start looking for tops that either button up, or can stretch like this dress. Trust me, if you don’t have any ‘easy access’ boob shirts in your closet, within your first week you will be running to the mall to grab one, so do yourself a favour and head over to Pink Blush to pick up a few maternity/nursing outfits before your tiny human arrives.

2017-01-30-01.38.07-2.jpg.jpgAlso, if you already have a kid or two running around the house, I am sure they will appreciate this dress as well, because it is a fantastic hiding spot when playing hide and seek with Dad (my new dress soon became Avery’g go to hide out).

This is one of those dresses that truly makes me feel beautiful. When I put it on my waddle turned into a strut, and my big bump felt more like a sexy curve. Thank you Pink Blush for helping this mama get back her pregnancy glow.

I love their Blue Diamond Striped 3/4 Sleeve Dress. Such a cheerful print and cute style.
I also love the dresses and tops that double as nursing tops. That is a great idea!
